Edison Ballroom Banquet Event Order (BEO)
Building your BEO
Building your BEO
Edison Ballroom sales person will create a BEO (Banquet Event Order) for all the details of your event
Each booked event comes with a food tasting to decide
which foods, wine, and specialty cocktails you would
like served at your event.
We typically like to schedule your tasting 2 months prior to
the event date to ensure your menu items will still be available.
Wine vintages, vegetables, fish and certain meats change based
on their availability.
Tastings typically take about 1 hour to complete
and to fill in the time between meals, your sales person
will speak with you about the following:
Each booked event comes with timeline review
your sales person will speak with you about your timeline at your tasting.
It is advantageous for Client, Guests, and Edison Ballroom staff
to know exactly when food service should be performed.
For most events with heavy content it is advisable to make the flow of food service, videos, and content seamless.
If your event does not have heavy content than there might be other
suggestions of how to expedite food service based on Clients needs and wishes.
Weddings and Mitzvah's will also have specific times that they would like service based on processions, introductions, and mobility.
Each booked event comes with floor plan management.
your sales person will speak to you about your floor plan ideas
and wishes at your tasting
Linen Colors and Décor will be discussed during floor plan review.
Although ROS is mostly coordinated with our TD (Technical Director)
Shawn Brophy it is sometimes advantageous to discuss with your sales person at your tasting.
